Athens, Greece – The main building of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens; one of the three building in central Athens, designed by the Danish Architect Theophil Hansen in 1859. It is part of the Architectural Trilogy of Athens; all three buildings were designed in the neo classical style by the same architect. The University, commonly known as the University of Athens, or UOA, was established in 1837. It is the oldest institution of Higher Education in Greece.
